NOVEMBER 2008 UPDATE: On November 18, 2008, the NJ Supreme
Court issued a unanimous opinion in the
Abbott SFRA case. The justices remanded the case to a lower
court for fact-finding. Read the

Remand Trial, which began on February 9, concluded on March 3. The post-trial briefs submitted by the plaintiffs, defendants and amici curiae

MARCH 24, 2009 UPDATE: Judge Peter
E. Doyne issued his recommendations to the NJ Supreme Court in the
Abbott Remand Trial.

APRIL 2009 UPDATE: In preparation
for the April 28, 2009, hearing before the NJ Supreme Court in the
Abbott SFRA case, and in response to the remand judge's opinion, ELC and
